Srijan Foundation (SF) was founded in 1995 by a group of socially committed young professionals. It was formally registered in 2001 with a vision to promote egalitarian, empowered and self-reliant society through tangible efforts of the voluntary organisations. For this to happen it was felt that the grass root organisations be capacitated to take up the responsibility to further enhance the capacity of the most marginalised and vulnerable section for its empowerment. SF seeks to accomplish this by extending technical support to individuals, NGO’s and Civil Societies promoting innovative approaches and building support at community levels through focused and integrated efforts.
Mission: To build the capacity of the community in general and the grass root organizations in particular to take up the responsibility to further enhancing the capacities of the most marginalized and vulnerable section for its empowerment.
